Funeral Notice – Linda Vishab
Linda Vishab passed away peacefully at her home the morning of April 1, 2026 surrounded by family. She was 86 years old.
Linda was born in Philadelphia in 1939, the youngest of six children born to David and Tevolinda Damerjian. She graduated from Germantown High School in 1957, where she was a cheerleader and active in many school activities. She went on to work for Eastern Airlines and TWA Airlines for close to 20 years and loved to travel. She married Richard Vahan Vishab in April 1968, with their 58th wedding anniversary later this month. She worked in Customer and Membership Services for Sam’s Club for over 20 years once her children were grown.
Linda loved to cook and bake, often baking over 50 pounds of cookies over the holiday season. She was involved with her church community, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and liked going to the theatre to see plays and musicals. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her four sisters Hermine (Karakashian), Deskouhy (Attarian), Serarpy (Eskandarian), and Berjouhy (Bosnian), and her brother Robert, as well as her in-laws Satenig and Moushegh Vishabazoon and her sister-in-law Helen Vishab, and brothers-in-law Martin Attarian and John (Buzzy) Bosnian. She is survived by her husband Richard, daughters Stefanie and Lori, several brothers/sisters in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday April 7, 2026 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Holy Trinity Armenian Church, 101 Ashmead Rd, Cheltenham, PA 19012. Her Funeral Service will follow at 10:30am.
Lunch will be served in the church hall immediately after.
Interment will be private.
